dear fam and friends,
how are things? great i hope. :)
well
this week was a little better. we worked hard and actually got some
help with members. this week we taught a lot of lessons with adult members! it was great. the ward is getting better and
actually starting to help us a little. i see the Lords hand in the
work... and its such a blessing! i love it. and i love God. :)
we also finally found a new house to move into. its 2 rooms a little
bathroom and a kitchencito. its pretty nice. has like new stuff and it
was remodeled a litttle. this is also the last week with my comp because he should have changes on the 7th... but im learning
a lot from being with him and i know it truly is a blessing.
well G2G!
love you. stay strong!

well, another week has passed.
little by little things are getting better, the area, the ward, the investigators, the relationship with the comp, etc. i know the Lord is blessing us... and i know he wants to bless us even more! i know that for a fact! but that depends on us and when He wants to do it.
this week we were able to find new investigators and rekindle the fire of some old ones, we just need to work hard and use what little resources we have to find new people that want to listen. but if we are obedient and show the Lord that we are here to work and nothing more, He will bless us. maybe this area has been a little harder than others, maybe im supposed to learn patience, humility, or something like that, and i am learning...a lot...and now i see that the Lord is helping us with His work. last week i even cried about not having so much success like i had had in the past, but im over it. if i just do what the Lord wants i am successful.
well G2G! love you all and stay firm in the gospel. for your own sake. but please do it. i know theres probably some of you that think, well life is long and i have time to repent.. or others that say, well its just hard to change the habits i have... or also, but "everyones doing it" or maybe some think, is it even worth it? living the gospel, obeying the commandments, reading the scripts, going to church, etc. i testify that it IS important. the gospel changes lives. and living it is the only way that you can recieve the blessings that the Lord has prepared for us.
D&C 64: 33-34
33 Wherefore, be not aweary in bwell-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of csmall things proceedeth that which is great.
34 Behold, the Lord arequireth the bheart and a cwilling mind; and the willing and dobedient shall eeat the good of the land of Zion in these last days.

Alejandro y Vianney. they were like, ya we talked with the missionaries a long time ago and we went to church too! and well we miss you and the church and all that! and well now we just wanna sit down here and listen to you and read the BofM and do what ever you tell us... and i was like SAWEEEEEEEEET! haha.
so ya..not too much has happened lately. the area is still a little difficult. but getting better little by little. pray for me! plz...i need more blessings. ;)

what a week...
it was full of experiences, great ones, bad ones, and traumatizing ones...
well actually the entire mission is full of different types of experiences.
this week one of our investigators received an answer in a dream!
pretty cool. she was reading the part of the testimony of joseph smith
in the BofM where it says that Moroni came to joseph smith as an angel
in his room to tell him about the gold plates and all that jazz, and then
she went to bed and dreamed that she saw that! that she was there
when it happened. that was 2 weeks ago.... then this last week we were
talking about the word of wisdom and she said that she was having
doubts about the fact that we cant drink tea as she was reading the
pamphle,t then she said she prayed about it and then she went to bed and
dreamed the same dream AGAIN! and then she was like, i now know that this
is the true chuch. i cant deny it. and well im so thankful for her and
her husband as well because he smokes but like 2 weeks ago i gave him a
blessing and he hasnt smoked since... we may have very few investigators, but im thankful for the few that are acccepting us...
i got the packages from mom and madison. thanks! love you!
also we lost 1 maybe 2 investigators that have baptism dates... one
moved and the other says she is super unstable but we were like,
well thats why you need the gospel! and well, we are gonna work on
her...
also yesterday in the afternoon an investigator/19 yr old son of a
recent convert was run over on his bike. his name is Josue Gladin Garcia
and he was riding his bike working when a microbus ran him over. the
sister called us yesterday crying and yellng, telling us that her son was
run over and so we ran to the hospital. we couldnt go in because only
one person is allowed to go in and only family members. but its super bad.
we dont really know anything but for a long time he wasnt reacting
to anything and we were starting to worry. everyone was praying. and the
police wouldnt even let us go in to give him a blessing. but about 8
oclock they said he was reacting and i guess he woke up and and said
he wanted to see his grandma... but thats all we know. this family has
suffered a lot. last year the dad died. the mom has a severe circulation
problem and they are starting to have money problems... and well thats
all we know about Josue, but keep him in your prayers. please.
love you. god answers prayers and everyone has their own destination in this life. some longer than others.
